New SMART Homes
It appears George Orwell has taken over the cable company with new SMART Home Technology.
What is a SMART Home?
SMART Home is one of many names given to a new service being offered to cable customers throughout America and Canada that can monitor and control different functions of your house.
All homes secured by the SMART Home are continually monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in real time from by staff at a Central Monitoring Station.
The SMART Home controls your alarm system, lights, SMART appliances, thermostat, and cameras that you have access to from any computer or SMART phone.
Do you feel “safe” yet? well don’t worry there is a secondary back up connection in case you lose the main connection. This way you can always be monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for the rest of your life. That is if you’re enough of a slave to actually subject yourself to this ridiculous George Orwell big brother surveillance nightmare on your own accord and pay the monthly cable fees for it. George Orwell Cable Company is coming to a town near you , that is if its not there already.
Check out the SMART Home here so you know i am not making this up.

Cos that’s EXACTLY what I want, people having 24/7 access to watch me while I sleep, eat, and spend time with my family. And if I start acting “suspicious” under that ever-watchful red eye, they simply shut off my refrigerator, shut off my lights, and shut off my air conditioning due to “unexpected technical issues.”
Now, not only am I dissident, but I’m dissident, I’ve got rotting food in the fridge, I’m reduced to candles and flashlights, and I’m cold.
Great move, Rogers!
